The admission to PGDCA shall be on competitive written entrance test which shall consist of 100 questions of 100 marks and will be of 1 Hours 30 Minutes duration, comprising of General Aptitude & Basic Maths (60%) and General Awarness & English (40%).
The final selection to these seats will be based on merit subject to minimum eligibility conditions laid by H.P. University.
There will not be any written Test for Non-subsidised category.

Bachelor Degree in any decipiline with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Candidates) from a university established by law in India.
The maximum age limit for PGDCA course is 26 years (28 years for girls) as on 01-07-2012.
However, in case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes / scheduied tribes, there will be relaxation of three years. The Vice-Chancellor shall have the power to permit age relaxation for reason to be recorded in writing up to a maximum of six months.
Duration of PGDCA is one year spread over two semesters.
There will be semester system of examination. Each theory paper will be of three hours duration and of 100 marks out of which 75 marks are for written examination and 25 for internal assessment. Each practical exam will be of 100 marks out of which 50 marks for practical and 50 for internal assessment. In the second semester student has to prepare one project which will be evaluated on the following basis

Affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, the college is imparting education to youths in various disciplines i.e. humanities, science and commerce at undergraduate level. The admission in all disciplines in the first year of bachelor degree courses is offered as per HPU norms. The college is recognized by UGC, New Delhi and is covered under section 2 (f) and 12 B of UGC Act. 1956.
